Specifically for use in mould and tool building, the welding device has been modified in such a way that welding filler wires of up to 0.25 mm can be welded.

Welding is performed by the single-pulse method with minimal base metal heating, as a result of which the smallest repair sites on surfaces, edges and corners without edge penetration are rendered possible. Preheating of the workpiece is no longer necessary with this "cold welding method".
